Outside Temp Gauge
You know, I'll still argue the point of your outside temperature gauge being "off". How do you really know, unless you can compare it to something else that is measuring the temperature IN THE EXACT SAME LOCATION AND BY THE EXACT SAME CIRCUMSTANCE. Listening to a radio, driving by a bank display or whatever, and they say 72* and your gauge indicates 75* is NOT a good comparison.
Mine seems correct. Every time I drive past a bank, mall, or so forth with a time/temp. display on their sign the display on my DIC pretty much always matches. At most is 1 degree different than the sign but I've only seen that once or twice. That's accurate enough for me.
OK, it is 85F outside and my dic temp says 58F. i washed Blackie about 9.30 this morning and he's been in the sun all day.
So I went out about 2.30 and drove in stop and go traffic for about 10 miles round trip, about 25-35 mph and it stayed at 58F. So from what I am reading, I needed to have continuous driving, with no stops at over 20 mph for it to change??!!
I'm wondering if I should be concerned as this is the FIRST issue with Blackie in my 6 months of having him.
