Injector harness. They are separate harnesses.

Try the coil harness, a more likely candidate, and your not wasting any of our time.

Not wasting my time. I get intrigued by stuff like this.

This may be a time where LKQ has earned a bad review.

I know you said the injectors are new....I would make sure the injector on the mis-firing cylinder is actually spraying as it should. While rare, it is possible to get a bad part or maybe containated

Jessica does mention that the injectors were swapped to test for a bad one.

Yes, they were swapped a couple times before being replaced.

I am planning on taking it down to the shop that installed the engine this Saturday morning. I did some online research pretty much looking at the history of engines used in the HHR and at no point in time was the LAP engine ever used in an HHR. So I am hoping to get some place to start from this weekend as far as the warranty on the engine is concerned. What sucks is my chances of finding an LE8 engine with that low of miles is probably slim. But right now I just want my car back.

Thanks,
Jessica

Go to that site and put in the selections for a 2011 HHR 2.2L Option LE8 and look at the options that come up. There are a bunch of Cobalts listed even though they don't have the LE8 engine. So if all of these places are selling this as an option then that tells me there has to be a way to make it work. Otherwise they would all not work, not just my car.

To be honest.....I am new to this site an new to HHR’s....havent had one but about 2 months so definitely not an authority. I’m a mk2 vw guy...but if it is always cylinder #1 i would think it should work unless for some reason the ECM’s are not compatible in fact.
Just so i understand...you swap injectors and plug and coil from cylinder 1 with another cylinder an still it throws cylinder 1 code? Any chance the intake has a crack or leak on cylinder 1?
