Power Steering Failure and Air Bag followed by no power.
Did you check for 12V at the red wire on the alternator, or continuity from the alt to the starter?
That might be a fusible link, I only know they don't mark it as such. It is sort of strange if they would put a plain splice there.

We had checked the stud on the alternator, it would only register whatever the battery would register as did each fuse. As the battery slowly died so did the voltage.
The wire from Alternator to Starter registered what the battery was at, at the time. There was 3 of us working together, writing everything down and double checking a few items.
Is there more then the two spots (under hood and passenger floor) that hold fuses?
Has anyone ever ran 0ga-4ga wire from alternator direct to battery?

Well we are riding in the car. Put in the reman carquest alternator from advance and bam.. we are charging and doing great! Crazy how an alternator can do so much bad.
still thinking of running a wire from alternator to battery to do the big 3, since I already did the 0 ga negative on the battery.
