Which Pressure?

My driver's side door says to inflate to 35psi, the tire itself says 51psi max... how much should I inflate?

Thanks!
Andy

The driver's side number is what you should be using. 51psi is the maximum you can safely use. Your ride and possibly treadwear will suffer if you set it that high, but fuel economy could improve. I would run the number on the door or slightly higher, but nowhere near the max.

The door placard number is the optimum pressure as determined by the OEM TPC tires. GM Tire and Wheel Systems does a good job evaluating tires to determine the pressure. Always go with the pressure listed on the tire placard. IMHO
