Good idea Deb on the chrome. I now have another use for that roll in the garage.
If I cannot figure out a larger/more useful rear cover then it's time to chrome up what is there!

I just put a ton of chrome on yesterday, I guess I owe ya'all some pictures anyway

Here's some pics of the blem:





Not so milky, more grey, but in the strata, not on top. Two spots so far...

Looks more like the surface is peeling off to me. Maybe water got in under the carbon fibre-look surface and caused it to separate. Maybe there was a slight hole or some other damage or it got damaged after you installed it.

I like that chrome moulding idea,I've onle had the pad on 1 mo, no trbl yet.where do you get a roll of moulding,probably could do a few cool things with it....thanx

Maybe if I look carefully I can find a pinhole or a crack. Looks tight upon first inspection though.......... Makes me think of laser/cd/dvd rot. You know, the separating strata due to oxidization due to a crack letting in some moisture.

I guess we'll be replacing it at some point. Still looking for something larger though since it hardly stops any scratches when we load sloppily
