Rear passenger boxes under window and wire taped to small battery wire

Do I need these boxes to run factory radio stuff at all? Or is it just XM?

And what's this wire going outside? Xm antenna? Trailer connector??

XM and OnStar. That appears to be a roll of masking tape under the battery. Somebody has been in there but not for a trailer wire harness

Wrong battery. No hold down, no vent.

We just talked about the battery in another thread. AGM, so no vent needed. I thought you said you were able to retain one of the hold down clamps?

Which car is this? If it is the SS one of those boxes is the amp for the radio.

It appears to be on the passenger side.

Try unplugging them and see what happens. My guess is it will make the BCM angry.
