Replacement Badges
The Bowtie fell off the tailgate of my HHR. The "chrome" piece is still there but the clear plastic and gold fell off. Can anyone suggest a place/site to get a replacement. All I seem to find is replacements for the entire piece.
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, the fine folks at GM only sell the complete Bowtie emblem assembly as Part #19209664, with a list price of $31.06.
A good place to find them considerably cheaper is on e-bay, just do a search by the part number.
Or you can try a Google search, you'll find several GM parts houses selling them for $17-22.

Found this on Amazon, a little pricey, and the reviews are not good.

As a long shot, you might try your dealer. I think the bow tie MAY be able to be obtained separately since, at one time GM was replacing them under warranty because of delamination.
Both of mine were replaced and I know they replaced with the bowtie only. My beauty bar had a small scratch prior to installation and it was still there after the repair. My grill had blacked out vertical supports and they were still there after the front was repaired.
Might have been a special run of those to comply with the complaint however.
