Deb, I think someone else had forgotten to put cap back on and after 10 starts or 50 miles the check engine light went off. It was a while back when I saw this the jumbers may be off a bit.

Already tried that start 10 times thing and that didn't work. Just went out and disconnected the battery and will let it sit unhooked for an hour or so and see if that works. I will keep you guys updated and will check in later when I reconnect it.

Ok folks...all is well in "Smoke" land. 
Check engine light is now off. 
Funniest thing about the whole deal, is I unhooked the battery in the back and shut the rear hatch.
Well...lo and behold when I went out to hook it back up, the rear hatch wouldn't open.
Then it dawned on me that it is an electric actuator and that I needed power in order to open it.
So, let's unload the stuff that's in the back seat that was in the cargo area, fold down the seats
(move passenger seat forward, so back seat will fold down), pull cargo shelf and spare tire shelf
out thru passenger doors and slide cable back over battery post.
Bada bing...bada boom...we have power.
Put key in ignition, start car and no more check engine light.
Put everything back where it goes and Deb is now doing the happy dance now.
Check engine light is now off. Funniest thing about the whole deal, is I unhooked the battery in the back and shut the rear hatch.
