TC light
Need help. 2006 hhr 2.4. TC light come on at idle if I keep the rpm up when it idles. Light pops on then engine light come on po171 is the code any help .243000 miles

However; vacuum leaks are a frequent culprit. If you are hearing a new noise under the hood, could be a broken flex pipe.

The traction control will turn off any time there is a "performance" related fault.
