Temperature Display

My temperature reading on the DIC seems to be stuck on 72 degrees. Is therre any way to reset this, or will I have to take it to the shop? This is the only thing wrong so far in the first 6 weeks. Better than my wife's 08 CTS. Motor had to be replaced at 1500 miles. Water getting into two cylcinders and it wasn't the head or the head gasket. It was a PITA to get GM to replace that motor, but I persevered and got it. Fine and trouble free since then.

Read this thread first before thinking you have a problem. You're not the first or last to experience this. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...t=temp+display post #3 seems to be why most have the problem
