Temperature Display

Hello,
Has anyone ever had their temp readout get stuck on one temp? It was a balmy 60 degrees here today in S. Indiana, but my temp readout stayed on 47degrees all day. It stayed on 47 every time I started my engine even when the car was outside in the sunshine. Is there any way to reset it? It is out of warranty now (bought new in January 2006)

Temp Readout

Thanks Jx3, the info was quite helpful. This is only the second kink with HHRvey since I brought him home new in January '06. My driving pattern yesterday was stop and go and under 18 MPH thus those explainations were valid in my case. Will check HHRvey again tomorrow as I will do some Interstate driving.

By the way, your pix of Dory are very nice!

Thats some good info. Even though its been driven, I do alot of stop and go driving and probably don't maintain over 18 for 15 continuous minutes. I will have to go take a ride on down the Interstate to see if that helps. Thanx
