The real difference came in the test drive. The vibe was rough, the engine had way more vibration than the HHR 2.2, power was less on the Vibe ... course its only a 1.8, strike Vibe off my list, now to compare a Caliber RT.......well I've driven an SXT........wish the rear seats folded flatter, cargo is less than Vibe or HHR @48, but for the same price I can get AWD in the Caliber.......
Are you on this site just to push the Caliber? Do you own an HHR?

No & No,Cap'n, answers to your questions. If I'm going to plonk down $25K cash, I'm not going to buy the first thing that looks good, or be the first on the block. Both vehicles have their pros and cons, as I have stated in other posts, I have read alot about both vehicles, I have test driven both (not the RT) and stated my findings. There may be others in the same position I am, who do a lot of reasearch before making a major purchase such as this, and forums and people such as yourself help to make these decisions one way or the other.....thats all I am saying, and what I have found, and they are only MY opinions..........and guess thats why there is more than one auto manufacturer in the world.

Back to ME getting one... :)

I'm shopping around now, looks like I'll be able to do it financially. I move back home on Saturday and will try to go to the dealer to stuff my gear in one of their HHR's on Sunday. I'll let you know how it goes :)

Wow, I'm certainly impressed.

Just picked up an Alesis Ion myself. Hopefully going to be gigging it soon!
