transmitter key ?
How can you tell if your keys have a transmitter in them , I need to make an extra key but not sure if mine has the transmitter built in it ?

Here's a photo of a "Chipped Transponder" key like those used in the HHR, look for the "+" in a circle on the key shank(Yeah I know the photo is of a GMC key), but you get the idea.

just below the black plastic part there will be a circle with a cross inside it stamped into the top of the key.
