Many, many things going on at the same time. As I work on things, I always don't have the right part or I need to go get something that I could get after work any other day so I move on to another project on the car that I have the parts for. With this kind of thinking, I have waaaay too many open projects, but I don't want to waste a 2 hour trip to go get a part when I could get something else done.

One of the "open" projects is the air suspension. I have an AirLift 3H control system that is still in the box. Right now, I'm using Schrader valves on 1/4" plastic air line to move the suspension up and down. The Viair compressor and tank are mounted but not wired to the 3H controller. The 3H system uses height sensors on each wheel and can be controlled from any smart phone. It's a really cool system but this, like everything else will take time to install and calibrate. I did however, drop the car down to it's lowest driving point just to see how it looked.

I think this is gonna look pretty cool with the exhaust pipes coming out of the rockers in front of the wheels.

You could only drive in a straight line like this but the bottom of the front bumper is 1 1/8" off the ground and the rubber "skirt" that hangs down below clears the ground by 1/4"..............so you could clear a cigarette butt.

 

That is a cool ride height control system, careful you don't hit a manhole cover!! Or a cigar butt!

 

Any one else notice the reflection on the side doors ?
Makes it look like the doors are crumpled with body damage.

You are correct. It's a car cover draped over the stair railing. Good eye.

I wasn't satisfied with the ECU mount so I spent all day with my plasma cutter, welder, drill press and grinders making a new one. It's 14 guage hot rolled sheet. Right now it's only primer, this week I'll paint it gloss black. I ordered a nutsert installer and when it shows up I'll put a couple of 1/4 x 20 nuts in the inner fender well to mount it.

 

The guages came in and I can't decide on which side to put the Speedo.

Kinda small pics, but then I looked at them in your gallery, full-size. I can see why it's a tough decision. Does one position make it easier to see the 4-pac of small gauges through the steering wheel?
