'56 Emblems Mounted

Ok , I finally got the '56 V8 Emblems finished and mounted back on the car. I can't do much with my arm in a sling so it has gone pretty slowly. This is what they look like now, finished. The car is really dusty and I don't want to scratch the paint so It will stay that way 'till it can get properly washed. Let me know what you think.

Moving it Again

I picked up the car from my buddy's shop last night because nothing was getting done on it....just collecting dust mostly. Well this morning I washed off the dust and took a couple of pics of it still on the trailer. I dont know if I ever showed you guys the finished steering wheel up against the instrument panel The wheel is a Cobalt SS leather model with a custom horn button I made for it. The guages are SpeedHut with a carbon fiber surround. The Black/Red SS seats and door panels brighten up an other wise basic black stock interior. (other than the B&M pro ratchet shifter and the roll cage)

The other pics show the '56 emblems off quite well. I have been delighted that nobody has even mentioned them. I guess they look original to onlookers.....the sign of a well done mod. Also check out the side view picture showing a blue 55 gal. drum. Check out the reflection. I work for an auto group that includes a Mercedes dealership. The painters did such an amazing show quality job on it......and I just paid for the materials......free labor!
