Thanks I feel much better today, washed her down figured out when next lube oil and filter are due, did not want to push my luck today, so I'll do all that tomorrow or Wednesday, so today I'll watch some races taped over the weekend.

Left the panel in the garage, took the SS up north, 140mile trip...averaged 33.2 mpg. Had a Shelby come up and impress me with his tuned exhaust, it did sound awesome. Didn't know a ford could sound so good....

LOVE BUGS!!!
Well the little critters are here for their semi-annual swarm fest. I'll just leave the SS parked in the shop until it's over.
Now my other car(truck) will get all the bug splatter.

A Day on the Road

Drove from Lakeville MN to Jackson WI to return from a visit to my son and his wife. Averaged 31.9 mpg for the round trip even with the extra pounds of squashed bugs on the windshield and front of the car.

Well this was recent but not today
Took a nice cruise down to a car show, ends up there was a bit of a show in the parking lot a 13 gt500 and a thunderbird parked next to us. I have to admit the gt500 and thunderbird are both really nice looking cars but the HHR still stands out as being different

Installed smoke colored front bumber lights, wish they made ones for the rear, and KYB struts/shocks.
