Drove one to the AmTrak station, parked it and took the train to work. Nice to be back on the job after last week's accident, now if I could just find my desk under all this cra...umm...vital paperwork.

Finished up the grille today. Color matched the bowtie and mesh, sanded and repainted the grille with a metallic silver I had. Next is to color match the rear bowtie and lower grille, along with that ugly black/grey plastic piece right in the middle of the bumper.

There is so much sand on the road, red has been grounded for some time. What I wouldn't give for a hard rain but alas, more snow/sleet expected next several days...

Plasti-Dip Smoke on the grille. Did smoke on sidemarkers front and rear and rear bumper reflectors over the weekend. I might go a little darker on the grille, we'll see. I didn't Glossify, but might do that as well.

Won't the plasti-dip burn off and stink bad coming off the grill? Or did you mean the grille?

Drove my HHR with the "Killer Ignition!!"(gotta love the media), to the AmTrak station and I survived.

It's a serious deal, and the GM safety recall shouldn't be taken lightly, but some of the news shows are taking a "scare the poo out of people" approach to reporting on it.

LOL! Yes I guess it would! I was meaning the front grille on my car...

Funny because I was talking about smoke and grills...
