I tried to tow my HHR today, but with the new ignition switch we are having problems setting it up to tow.... the ignition switch fuse no longer turns off the ignition........ ugh lol

Odd. The new ignition switch shouldn't have changed anything in those regards. It's the same type switch, just made with some stronger internal parts. It still plugs into the original wiring harness which uses that original fuse.

Sounds like a separate issue, BUT, I would check back with your dealer that did the recall work.

Just to clarify. Which fuse # are you calling the ignition switch fuse?

Cranked up the '06 and headed over to the Speedway for the NASCAR All Star Race, it was a good night all around, and our guy Harvick needed just one more lap to do the job. But we'll get 'em next year, and it's only a week to the Coca-Cola 600.

A big congrats to Jamie McMurray and the whole gang at Ganassi Racing. That Bass Pro Shops, Cessna Aircraft, National Wild Turkey Foundation, McDonald's, Chevrolet SS was the class of the field when it counted.

And a big thanks to the race fans, the crowd was very well behaved compared to other years and leaving the track was well organized and smooth.
