P.S. Digging the Mouse Ears Roy!
I was a lot of fun, we've been doing it for a few years now. This was our best turn out yet about 2500+ people and 3o or so cars.

Well the adjuster came today. Turns out it was more damaged than I thought. 1,143 dollars worth. The crash pad and steel bumper plate were bent slightly. Ughhh. Well at least ol Ron Burgundy ( cars name) will be repaired.

Just got the WT floor liners in and installed, put on my replacement grille, thanks Lasater! Fit great, I bought one from Skyline26 but will save that one for later!

I put on my winter tires yesterday

Those tires look pretty aggressive on the HHR

Snow is forecast for the NC mountains on Saturday, with the possibility of flurries here in the Charlotte area.

The way our TV weather folks are panicking, there will be no milk or bread left on the supermarket shelves by noon.

And then there's the roads......

Snow Tires huh? Do they keep snow away, or do they attract it?

It's 36° here, so I'll be turning that little knob on the dash from blue to red when I head to the office in a few minutes. And just last week it was 85°, global warming they say, pffft!

I picked up the door handle grip pads yesterday. This weekend I'll clean all the crud out of there and pop those in.

I don't need em yet, it's been bouncing between mid 50s and low 60s, so it wont be too long. And I'll need em in a few weeks for going to Michigan if my leave gets approved.

Moved her to the new place. She fired, and ran for a bit, than quit on me with a bang, so I'll be digging back into the engine again. Lucky for me I've had it apart so many time I can do it rather quickly and effortlessly now. I got a little lazy putting the head together. It was late, and was out of assembly lube so I just used some 10w40 on the cam journals. I have a feeling a cam seized, and busted the timing chain. I'll be digging into her this weekend once I get the garage set up in the new place.
