Well ya know Frenchy, the NASCAR teams here in NC are always looking for crew members on pit road, and unless you live in the mountains...snow tires are an unknown concept in Carolina.

Oh geez OB, so sorry to hear that your anniversary was spoiled by a case of the creeping crud. Take care of yourself and take it easy, this whatever it is, ain't fun.

The "did something" with my HHR's today, will be paying the bi-annual insurance premium on them to Nationwide Insurance...what fun.

Thanks for keeping those Saturday racers on the track and Junebug as their spokesperson!
It don't hurt so bad from that point of view, now does it!!

Ouch! Man that sucks! But you're OK and that's the important thing.

Let us know how you make out with the estimates, etc.

I lied a little in my post, as I actually crashed it yesterday morning, but still...ugh. I got the estimate just a little while ago; just shy of $6000. Every panel of the front end needs replacing, it needs a new radiator, and some other things got pushed around within the engine compartment that I don't know the specifics of quite yet.

I am basically ok, though my neck and shoulders hurt a bit today.

I was the last car in line in a four car pileup, and my HHR took out the rear end of a Grand Am. We were in a spot where the road suddenly narrows from four lanes to two, and the lead car for no apparent reason slammed on his brakes, causing himself to get rear ended, and then the Grand Am hit car #2, and my Chevy said hello to car #3, the Pontiac. No one was hurt, and car #3 and my HHR took the worst of it. Of course, the lead car that in reality caused it all and will have no liability was barely scratched. Figures....
