Must have been added to newer models. I just deleted my cat but I still have the cat on the downpipe. I deleted the resonator a few years ago...

The new one had the option for the in the pipe upstream O2, mine is in the manifold so it's just plugged.

I'm getting ready to order a catless downpipe. My trifecta tune will let me clear the code and cheat the emissions into thinking there's a cat installed.

Tried to install a new aftermarket grille but I couldnt get the screws to fit. I tried to find a factory manual because I was told it installed like an oem with no luck. I will try calling the company in the morning again.

In the words of Lou Costello, "I've Been a Baaaaad Boy!", got popped in Paddy for going 75 in a 70 mph zone. So I've already signed up for a Driver Improvement Course which will make the points go bye bye.

Oh well, the fine is small, and I was returning from the Childress Vinyards with a wedding present for my boss and friend Nolan at Internet Brands.

Now hopefully, UPS won't smash this case of wine like the first one we sent to Nolan and his bride, the "Big Brown Truck" folks still haven't paid for that one even though it was insured.

For my fellow NC members, pay attention to white Ford Escapes, the State Police have unmarked ones now.

Made it to michigan in one piece. The car is filthy, but running fine.

843, I'm kinda surprised he hit you for 5 over. Passed by a cop on the way out here doing 82 in a 70 and he wasn't in the slightest bit concerned.

Glad to hear you made it to Michigan Frenchy, dirt washes off, if it's above freezing that is.

Oh, I was rolling along at more than 75, the officer gave me a break and "wrote me up" for only 5 over.

My exact velocity will remain between me and officer, let's just say that Paddy was making time like a Hunting Dog going after a deer...Tail straight out and belly to the ground.

I'm a bit chagrined, that's twice this year that I've been pulled over, but my first ticket since 1990.

Now I have to decide whether to attend a normal traffic school, or a "comedy" traffic school.

Took a little "off road" trip in the SS.
Well actually, I got "forced into a ditch" would be a better description!

I was coming home on one of the local 2 lane county roads. Running about 50-55 mph, when a large SUV came out from a side road on my right without stopping or looking. He/She (not sure because they never looked my way before coming out !) came out when I was about 100 ft away.

Now. I got on the brakes hard but realized I would hit them if I stayed straight in my lane. (100 feet is NOT much reaction distance)
I tried option 2 which was to go around them by way of the opposing lane which had no traffic. Well, unfortunatley , that's the lane and direction the SUV had chosen.
Now on to option 3, which was to steer off the left side and into a semi shallow ditch.(and miss the SUV which is now halfway into the left side of my road)
Well, option 3 it was !!! I left the road at maybe 15 -20 mph. Let off the brakes and did a half Joey Chitwood 90 degree right slide in the grass.(Hoping I didn't flip )
I came to a stop on the shoulder/in the ditch, within about 30 feet. Thank goodness it was a gradual drop off and no culvert drain there.
Amazingly, I didn't hit anything or appear to do any damage to the SS, other than some dirt and grass on my left side tires and rims.
Went back to the house and gave the underside a good look over. It all looks OK.

The SUV ? Never slowed down. Just kept going.
