What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Michelle and Dusty met me at the airport Friday night with our 2011, it flipped over 70,000 miles on the way home. It seems like just yesterday when we picked it up at the dealership showing 7 miles on the odometer, sigh.
This morning I fired up my '06 daily driver for a quick scoot to the neighborhood Walgreens, I've managed to import a lovely(read rotten) headcold from Denver.
The Mile High City is a nice place to visit, but y'all need to warn folks about Denver headcolds, I sneezed my way through Saturday, and now my wife has the sniffles too.
P.S. The calipers look great Frenchy!

I installed a new resister for the blower motor, put the original leather knob on the new shifter and hit the drawing board for some possible future customizing.

We left our Son Dusty in the care of Gamma and hit the town in Paddy to celebrate our eighth anniversary.
Dinner at our favorite steakhouse, then a drive to The Charlotte Motor Speedway to cruise around the track while oogling this year's 3.5 million Christmas lights set up along a 7 1/2 mile course.
And yes, we took the Paddy-Wagon up on the Speedway's 25 degree banking, even though an HHR's tipping point is 35 degrees...there's still a "whee!" factor involved.
And to top things off, we put a dent in the white chocolate/raspberry cheesecake I made for dessert, it's Michelle's favorite.

Noticed that the Daily Driver '06 has become a "Padiddle" with the high beams on, the right headlight bulb will need replacing.
Dang SilverStar bulbs are predictable, they last about a year. But I like their output and beam pattern, so I'll pick up another pair on the way home tomorrow night.
