Happy wife! Happy life! That's why I'm sitting here looking at an empty driveway, my wife is very happy to take the HHR to work, she loves the twisty back roads drive much better than her Sunfire GT!! Happy, Happy, Joy! Joy!

Noticed today I have a very slight "squeak" in the front end when I go over speed bumps and out driveways. I suspect it is the Energy Suspension bushings recently installed (post #12418 in this thread) and not having enough grease.........sounds like something that would come from a poly to metal twisting action.

Made some shims, as mentioned previously. So when I install those, I will use some additional grease.

Wife was driving the HHR and bringing me home from additional back work done. As a passenger, or maybe the "downers" and pain medicine they gave me, made it noticeable/imaginable for me.....she couldn't hear it......

A box!

My apologies for my flippant response Frenchy, my Tuesday was subpar at best.

Capped by a trainee copilot dumping our aircraft into an uncoordinated turn/bank that had our four passengers bouncing around the cabin like Superballs.

I'm on the hook for a crunched laptop, dry cleaning bills, and cleaning the cabin of soda and food stains. No injuries, thank Heavens.

I have a pretty good guess as to the contents of the box, but I'll await your official reveal.

Based on Frenchy's posts in other threads, I'm pretty sure of what it is too.

So. Do we have to wait for Christmas morning for you to open the present ?

Mike: Be careful up there! Been some unfortunate tragedies lately involving small aircraft.

Mike, how did you know?!?! *whispers* Are you psychic? Sorry to hear about your bad day, sounds pretty nerve racking.

And I may or may not have opened it already... >.> It'll be going in tonight, then I'll be shifting like a madman!!! The knob that came with it is heavy as hell, too. I know it's supposed to be weighted and all, but damn. The thing weighs 1.5 lbs!!!

x2 on the being careful up there 843.

The axle swap looks good Frenchy. Would like to do that to mine, but donor parts around here are kinda hart to find.

As for the HHR... waiting for my two week vacation over Christmas to drive up to St.Louis to do all the painting in a heated garage.
