What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Yikes them are some big rims ! Keep at it we all take a break from our projects now and then.
Today a run to Hamilton to visit my girl! It's a 145 klms round trip everyday so maybe tomorrow will do some mid cycle checks on the suspension and brakes. The DIC shows 50% oil life and the dip stick shows full no burn off. I'm tossing around the idea of a Seafoam fuel treatment over the next 3 runs , but it is running fine for now, maybe just run a tank or two of 93 instead of the 87 I've been using. It's only been 5 days of this driving and I've got twenty five days to go before the Doctors decide if Sweetie can come home or have to stay for more chemotherapy. I'll just hurry up and wait for them to do what they gotta do!!! To get her better!

I got mine the best price in town last October, my GM dealer, they claim they won't be undersold on any tires! $12.00 better then Direct Tire, Walmart was hopeless, me regular tire guy retired out of the business and sold off everything, hey he's 92 years old!, I forgive him!
We Finished Up The Wheel And Caliper Paint, And Lettering The Tires On The Front...Also Added Some Fancy Crown Valve Stem Caps.

On the 1st I swapped to my winter setup, cleaned and lubed the brake pads and shoes adjusted the rear adjusters, bolted up my winter steelies and changed out my headlamps for a set I bought a few years ago.
On the 2nd just the round trip to see Sweetie , they finished her first round of chemotherapy and at 6:00 pm EST I played Queen for her.
And today just another day in the hospital with my girl!

Tell her we're all thinking of her Oldblue, and y'all should get something in the mail from that 88 car after Dover.
My tire paint arrived CorvetteMongo, but thanks to a busy flight schedule and a pesky Hurricane bringing monsoon rains to the Carolinas, my tires remain either in the garage(Paddy and the '11 2LT), or dirty as all get out on the '06 Daily Driver. Your ride is getting sweeter by the day man, and great color coordination, Eve, the Canadian National EMD GP40-2LW, and CP Rail boxcar.
If it weren't a miserable 52° today, I'd jack up one of the clean ones and do the tires, but it's that awful damp cold that just cuts right through you.(Yes, just say it my Yankee and Canadian friends, "Southerners are cold weather wimps")
So as our neighbors in South Carolina are doing, we're heeding the State of Emergency and staying "hunkered in the bunker" until the skies clear and the streams and rivers start behaving themselves again.

Yesterday (Saturday) Eve and I took about a 250 mile round trip drive down to a Casino we'd never been to in Wisconsin Dells...the first trip we've taken with the HHR. Eve ended up going home about $150.00 richer than when she came. While she was getting rich I checked out a couple near by Strip Clubs, but neither were worth the bother so when Eve was done playing her games, we just went home, but it was a nice ride in the HHR at least.
