What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
I left mine all parked, too much shouting on Saturday during the disassembly of a 75' x 100' tent with lots of eager but mechanically disinclined helpers, left me with no voice. I can whisper or make little squeaking noises that Michelle and Dusty find funnier than anything.
But as a pilot, no voice means no flying.
So instead of having fun on I-485, I "telecommuted".
I found a car horn app for my i-Phone so that I could blow the horn and hold up a sign saying "the gas pedel is on the right you $&@#?ŽŠ jerk!".
That made it seem almost like a normal Monday morning.

Figured I'll show off another project I'm workin on. Tryin to make these wheels fit under there. Installing a narrowed rear axle to tuck the wheels inside the fender wells. Should have everything welded in this weekend, just waiting on tires to be delivered. In case you're wondering about wheel specs, they're 20x10 with -25mm offset, 3-piece billets with 6" lips

Let me tell you about my day... first I have much to do as the first owner just drove the 08 HHR and messed it up. I Replaced the struts and rear shocks, but was still having problems so I started to balance all 4 wheels. One tire just would not balance out so I broke it down to fine about 3 cups of water INSIDE and the aftermath of using the great product "FIX A FLAT". Got the water out and a hour later had most of the Fix a Flat off the inside of the rim and tire (with the help of a nice guy working on the tire as I worked on the rim. Then on putting it together I found the nail still in the tire, had to fix that first, then on to remount, balance, install and on to the rest of the wheels... all out of balance from the tire shop. PLEASE NOTE: if you ever have to use a product like Fix a Flat, the next day you need to get it to a tire shop or break it down and wash/wipe out the glue mess before it dries / sets up. Then fix the problem the right way and re-balance. Hopes this helps and saves someone the problem and work I found... NOT the way you want to spend a day and there was no need for it. Happy trails........................
