Hey Vince, there is a coating body shops use to recondition the lenses, it requires UV lights to cure it and last a long time.

Paddy is back on the road after nearly a week, second EPS motor in a month and a "Steering Angle Sensor" under the Extended Coverage Program.

Did GM get a "dud" batch of replacement EPS motors, the jury is still out on that, but I'll get word from Chevy once Paddy's month old EPS motor that failed is examined. And y'all will know when I do.

It's nice to have my favorite HHR back home in the garage, freshly washed, waxed, and detailed too.

A big to Drew Vogel and all of the techs at Ben Mynatt Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC for another job well done!

Regarding the Headlight cleaning, I took the wifes Civic to our local SAMs club and they did a fantastic job! Used the clear that requires the uv light to cure and they guarantee the job for 5 years. Not bad at all for what I think was 35 bucks. I used to do them myself on my Del Sol and CRZ, but for that price and guarantee.......

Cool beans Anime SA , good deal for $35.00.

Today is a wait day, wait for the A/C service dude to come and check out the house A/C before the summer heat hits!
I'll wash the HHR and vacuum the interior

this week i put new plugs and charged the a/cand new sway bar bushings. the sway bar bushing on pass side was easy the drivers side was a pain the bolt was super tight and stripped the head on the one with the nut . i did get it but it took some time and the replacement bolt had a normal size head that a 17 mm soket fit. well the socket did not fit threw the hole in the frame. i had to slide the socket in the frame where the lower control arm is and get it where the hole was then put a extension on it . a pain but it worked
