What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Going for a Victoria Day drive in the country, maybe to Paris or Windsor Ontario, maybe London.
To early for "sailing on a summers breeze, skipping over the ocean like a stone! As Harry Nilsson sang!

Well yesterday was totally not what I expected, we were heading up Hwy 58 and saw a sign at Merritville Speedway, a Memorial race for my friend And driver Flying Brian Stevens , driver of the 444, I used to wrench on and the #1 I designed and built and he drove and won in its first race!
This is a picture of Brian on the right, and me on the left with the checkered flag back in July 1992
Brian passed away on Feb 18,2015 of cancer. RIP my friend!

Got a ride home from Charlotte-Douglas Intl Airport in Paddy last night, home at last after a week in China.
I missed y'all terribly, and I've got some serious catching up to do, so if I seem more clueless than usual...well now I done got me an excuse.
Aw gee Oldblue, I raced Brian once at the Ransomville Speedway, I had no idea that we'd lost him.
Have to go get something out of my eyes now.

I went to a local automotive salvage yard. I told the clerk that I owned a Chevy HHR 2010 year model and that I wanted to purchase a rear seat and install it in my Chevy Panel HHR.
Well he had it complete with seat belts. The seat cost me $85.00. The seat belts cost $40.00 The mechanic charged me 30.00 to install everything.
So now I can let the granddaughters ride safely in the back seat.
So now I have a metal cage partition and box for sale as I won't need them anymore. If any one is interested please PM me.
(I edited out your e-mail address, we prefer folks conduct business through our PM function, more secure and safe that way)
