Fuel pump was whining like a dremel tool. 2 hours and 45 mins later all done and cleaned up. Having a new exhaust helped, no rusty bolts. She's running great again.

Today a trip to my eye Doctor, a check up and tests for glaucoma and cataracts, a follow up in a few weeks. The HHR run awesome through the wind and rain at least we avoided the predicted snow storms!

Ordered a black tube grill set this morning. The factory grill, on the white vehicle, makes me kinda nauseous. Think the factory grill, would look better hanging on a wall, or on someone else's hhr, or hanging on their wall?

Loaned it to my son while his car is in the shop. Our HHR has been perfect so far. about 164k on it. Runs great. I havent driven it since last December, I broke my right ankle and there really inst enough room to drive left footed with a plastic cast on my right foot. Ahh but next week i go to the doctor and should be able to walk and maybe drive the regular way again. i've been using my Silverado the last couple months-left footed w/o any problems.
I slipped on the ice Jan 2nd. ouch. surgery-screws-pins--painful as heck..

I tortured my poor little HHR today Got a great deal on bagged concrete though, which will go a long way towards fixing my muddy driveway... 880lbs worth for $11. But at least I spread it out evenly, with 2 bags in passenger seat, & more than half of the rest being towards the middle instead of all in the back.

I was genuinely surprised that it didn't squat down very much, & the short ride home didn't feel any different except when I hit the brakes!
