220K on the HHR thought it was time to work on the front end. The control arm bushings were shot and the ball joints were about done too. Replaced the lower control arms with Cobalt SS Moog problem solver ones. Took 22 minutes per side. Car drives much better. Almost no torque steer under power. Road feel is much better. A big plus is no more brake shimmy.

Do those problem solver LCA's have the rubber bushing or the bearing / bushing?

We drove out to Long Point, no swans they flew thru a week ago, but we did spot a flock of swans closer to Maple Bay on Lake Erie

It came with the rubber one. I pressed it out and put the bearing socket type in. Im doing this one time. I tried to order one with the better bushing installed, but Moog will not do special orders. It was nice to every thing ready to go for the swap. The old aluminum control arms look very rough cast. Taking them down next week to have ultrasonic test done to them.

Reset the clocks, that's everything except the microwave clock done. That is Michelle's job, that appliance HATES me.

We're Praying for you and your Sweetie Oldblue.

A hearty handshake for you, and hugs for Helen from all of us.

Only re set the clock in the black panel so far.

That was after a night of fog and light rain.
