A Train Guy Huh...You might like these albums. I've been meaning to do more with the Vintage Album, but haven't got to it as yet.

Taking the GT for a run to Hamilton! The old Sunfire hasn't seen daylight since last October!
It's gonna seem strange, no cruise control! No seven speaker stereo , but I'll manage!!

It's got an engine, four wheels, and it'll get you to your Sweetie.

You don't need much more than that.

Give Helen our love from everyone here on the Site, and give her a "Virtual Hug" from all of us for Mother's Day.

I painted the engine top shroud and added the stainless steel goodies and a couple decals under the hood...none of the girls would help, seems it's beneath them to work on a 4-popper...Eve finally did come along but wouldn't dress up...Oh well, maybe next time.

Lookin' sweet Momgo!

How's the lettering paint holding up on your tires? Since I've got a few days off and a new set of unmounted Tiger Paw GTZ's waiting to go on I thought I'd letter them after they're mounted, but before I bolt the rims back on Paddy.

I've cleaned the sidewalls with Isopropyl Alcohol until the cloth comes off clean, so the tires are as "paintable" as they'll ever be.

Thanks to a stomach bug, Mother's Day dinner has been pushed back until tomorrow, this time yesterday found me greener than Kermit the Frog.

And to answer Oldblue's question, That Room has Wi-Fi, but I was umm...busy.

Thanks...

The tire paint pens I used last year is not staying on very well...I've bought some very expensive Ranger Tire Paint...it's in a can and is made for tire sidewalls and lettering...I hope to get it on soon, but with MurderCycle weather finally here, it might get back burnered for a while...

Thanks for the heads up Mongo, I really appreciate it.

Well $15 a tin for the Ranger Tire Paint isn't too bad, one of my only gripes over the years isn't aimed our beloved HHR's, but that nobody makes proper white lettered tire in our sizes.

Here's a link to Ranger for anyone who's also of the "Big 'n Littles, White Letters, A** High & Nose Down" generation.

I wonder how PlastiDip, would work on tires?

I don't know there's any room for raised white letters or white walls for these tires!!
