What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Fired up the Torpedo heater to get things nice and toasty, then the '06 got new rear wheel cylinders, and a brake fluid flush.
Discovered the right rear spring is broken, kinda surprised me, the 'Ol Trucklet hasn't made any weird noises, and it sits dead level.
But what was once a coil spring, is now two coil springs that have bound up with the broken ends overlapping by 3/4 of an inch.
Now the question is OEM stock, or a nice set of pre-loved "Performance Springs" on e-bay?

It was a brisk morning out in Florida... In Greggs home (my garage) Gregg read 65 degrees and about five miles down the road it dropped to 35 degrees and the "Ice Possible) message popped up! I had to change out my LCA's yesterday morning and keep the garage open for light and MAN IT WAS COLD! 56 degrees!!!!! I was wearing sweatpants and socks and when I was torquing the rear bolt I was literally sliding on the floor on my behind! XD Had to brace myself against the frame HAHA But the first true test this morning revealed a happier Gregg but still a slight shudder at speed! Wheel balance is my only option at this point. Gregg has an entirely new front end now!
