New AC Delco 131-158 thermostat?

Today was a baby sitting day, all day 7:00 am till 5:00 pm
That and 35 C weather and oh , yeah , they don’t believe in A/C .
But we had fun , and sweated off at least 4 kilos of water.
The HHR was parked down the street, they still haven’t fixed this hole in the road.

Geesh, you have to ask me that? Of course it is...

On a side note, even the owner of this NAPA garage I have my work done at won't use anything but proper AC-Delco thermostats in GM cars.

I have to ask, I can’t assume, but it should have a 12 month warranty.

Today is hot out there yikes

Yikes, that’s hot!

In our Canadian metric , it’s still a scorcher!!

We had thunder & lightning today, so I had to unplug my Battery MINDer* on my ride.

Because of the bad rains it has been sleeping a few days anyhow.

tried my hand at some painting today. There are a lot of rock chips that I wanted to fix up. The hatch also had some heavy scratches at the bottom so I sanded and repainted the bottom part of that. The bottom part of the inside of the doors had some rust building so I removed the rust and repainted those as well. I'm letting the clearcoat dry overnight so we'll see how things turn out tomorrow

marked all the rock chips with masking tape and a pen so I could keep track of them

I added some paint to center console elements

Had the door panels off anyway and the dark grey part was looking pretty worn, so I put the same blue color on there

Here's the dash with the new color. It looks a lot cooler in the sunlight. I also replaced the 12V DC outlet with a pair of USB ports for android auto

replaced the exhaust cam solenoid - 15 minutes from hood up to hood down thanks to this site! having the right tools on hand and ready with a mental walk thru makes this as easy as swapping a spark plug.
