Had to fill up the SS with gas this morning. Not that unusual until I noticed that my last fill up was in April !
Man. I really need to drive this car more often. 403 miles in 4 months. I'm wondering if I need to put some Sta-Bil in the gas as a preventative measure.

I wouldn’t, Sweetie’s ride has been sitting since May of 2015, I run it down the road for a trip to the coffee shop every two weeks and fill it up every 4 months.
So fat no flat spots on those new BFG’s and no fuel problems associated with stale gasoline.
Before she got sick, she’d fill it up twice a week.

I still like the look of those rims, waxing them, I would think would be a bit more involved.
Sleeper if those "small bead screws" come off I have no idea if you can get replacements.
Why do you think they would be more involved if they were waxed? As in the look.

My 83 Monte TPI car sits at times and I don't use nothing in the gas. Turn the key and drive it down the road. Yes it's inside my storage shed, out of the weather, but not heated.

I'd suggest Seafoam*, it can safely store gas for 2 years, & no shelf life on the opened bottle. Unlike Sta-Bil..

I was referring to more involved waxing each & every one. Not because they are waxed.

Question

Got the state inspection yesterday morning so I could get the new tags. Noticed that the CEL was on after I left the inspection station. Have not had time to look into it yet. It passed inspection with no problems, now ?? I'll put the code reader on it sometime this week, it is just sitting in the driveway for now while wife is sick. Kinda puzzled what would all of the sudden cause this just having it inspected.

Hauled two, 8 foot x 5 foot sections of fencing home today. Love those roof rails, not just for looks.
Course I had my moving blankets padding everything. I should have taken a pic. Got some interesting looks.
