I crashed into a large yellow pole at work. Left yellow paint on my white front bumper. Looks kind of sick. BIG GAS.

These lightly used wheels that I picked up in 2011 and have been sitting in their boxes since... Survived the flood and the house fire. (and a little bit of "pestilence" via mice & chipmunks)

Like Magic...

Anyways, I polished two of them today, two to go. When I get new tires I going to be using these Eagle Alloy "192" 16 inch wheels. I'll have to use the best of the old corroded Euromax wheels for a full size spare. Same size, similar look but not the same. Can't find a fifth Eagle 192 for the life of me.

Factory 17's go into storage. The HHR runs so much better with a lighter wheel and tire combination. Those 17's are really heavy.

Hopefully tires and lowering springs happen within a month... Right before I quit driving it for the winter. That is if I find another "winter vehicle" (ie: a truck.) to beat on.

My "truck search" is not going well so far... Over priced or rotted away...

and I'm getting sidetracked by a certain little '53 Chevy two door coupe... Dangit! I want that car.

Drove yesterday for the first time since the 4th. In addition to the vertigo it appears I had a small stroke, as the double vision is gone I am fine though I still have to use a cane or a walker and that is a bummer but It is improving. That bad part was going to see my 97 year old mother in MICU. It appears she had a stroke in the hospital and is now in comfort care. This is a lady that just quit driving 3 years ago. When she retired she bought a 96 Honda fuel injected 5 speed coupe. So the days have been long recently.

Can't really say much unless I get it... It does look like it was hot rodded quite some time ago and then weathered since then. Needs work but runs and drives... We'll see.

Took our drive today, started out at 444,444 klms and ended 12 hours and 735 klms later we drove out to Pellee Island Park, we missed the mass Monarch Butterflies as they migrate to Mexico.

Not so meaningful, but a lot of miles at that.

All 4’s , kinda special as that was a number of one of the race cars I used to work on. Go 444!

I had to drive mine on a sad mission today. Last night we lost my 97 year old mother and we had to make the arrangements today. It has been a long day.
