Thinking to add one and subtract the Sunfire GT. It will be Sweetie’s HHR.

Front brakes for second time @177K miles. last time I put in new rotors, this time I had the original cut and tossed them back in. (nice to have a lee set to work with)

Also topped off the tranny fluid (never did anything since new, kinda scared) I only over filled it by maybe 3 cap fulls; kinda cool.
Little bugger has an odd symptom, when warm (not cold or hot) in the 45mph range seems to downshift or unlock the converter. That's what it feels like and tacho kinda shows the rpms bounce. Stronger throttle makes it go away. When I did the LCA's I saw drivers side CV joint tranny side moist, hence the topping off.

Inspection guy said and showed me the 'green leak' at the AC compressor, but the charge seems fine. (got to play with the new Testo 550) Though supperheat was at 27 and subcool at 18, (temp clamps next to respective service ports) seemed odd shooting from the hip, but Chevy manual doesn't seem to call out those, just pressures and ambient temp and humidity, and those fell comfortably in range.

Got a ~1500 mile tour next week or so, of which DerbyCon is a highlight stop! #TrevorForget

This LS half panel is new to me, I've mostly been cleaning and detailing my "new" ride. Pulled the wheels and repainted the steel rim and cleaned the plastic wheel covers. She looks all "fresh & minty"!

Fixed a ground wire that probably has more soldered splices than wire by now.... Dang rodents.

The lady with the smelly HHR, called she claims she has had the car detailed and it’s clean and like new inside, Sweetie is out with some friends right now, So I, Inasked the owner to stop by here, so I can jack it up, inspect the brakes, LCA bushings and ball joints, hook up my scanner and check for codes.
Now, I have worked on this HHR before , I repaired the P0011 code , two years ago.
the HHR only has 87,000 klms or 54,059 miles on it.
Time will tell, I want to look close at the fuel lines also.

What are you looking for with the fuel lines?

Motivated seller. That's a good thing. How do the HHRs hold up north of the rust belt? (they are econo-boxes)

Not sure if I can side with the misses or not. I'm the only person in my entire family that doesn't smoke (parents, grandparents, siblings, in/out-laws, nieces/nephews etc.)
My only major 'will not tolerate on any level' is while i'm eating. Most other times, just rather not have it. (also won't 'kiss an ashtray' ) But in a car, its removable, just takes a few chems and more so, time. lots of time.

My ‘07 was smoked in by the PO, during the rainy season, it still smells of smoke.
We’ve removed the complete interior, washed and cleaned all surfaces, reupholstered the seats with new material from a non smoked in HHR.
