I would like to raise a puppy that's for the blind/deaf or the like. Would break my heart to see them go after a year but I would get another so I could help out again.

Sorry to take so long to reply. It was fairly painless. I crimped and shrink-wrapped the power wires into the stock harness and it's given me no issues. The LED readout seems to not draw too much power, so yeah. Other than fitment, it was gravy. Even then, it just fits snugly, which is a plus imo.

I really should check the back seats more often. My nose started to complain when I got into the car this morning, and I looked in the back to find this.
After getting home, spent some time shampooing and scrubbing... did some good, but it looks like there'll be a permanent stain there, though not as dark as in this pic.

She's 12 now, and still tends to leave a mess in the car. My wife rolls her eyes at my tendency not to let kids eat in the car. Well.... this is why.

That’s why I splurged and got WeatherTech mats! Like these, my black interior didn’t show up well , so I post these

Today a drive in in the county for fresh eggs.

I will soon be in the market for some better floor mats. I'll be roaming my area for a few months, doing workstation installations for a company with a lot of offices, and my HHR will be my chariot. I had to get the mess cleaned up as well as I could, as the stink would have made the job a lot less pleasant.

I may also need to install a baseplate and tow bar, possibly needing to flat tow it if I decide to start doing RV drive-away this Spring.

Replaced the fuel line on the panel, from the tank up to the front outside in the driveway. Didn't plan to... kinda had to. Outside temp today here was -9. I really. really need to build a shop. Brought out one of the floor jacks I had for Semi trailer repairs and jacked that puppy up so high it was on one wheel. Yes I put jack stands under it... shoulda took a pic of it sitting all funky like, but it was to friggin cold to fart around.
