I had tried a Kenwood and pioneer set that both included brackets that made it easy to install in the factory location.
Thank you. That is the way I am going. I was going to order this week but one of my son's in the hospital and I lpaid his 550$ for repairs on his HHR .
and I just spent 600$ on a New 200amp service panel in my house :O Hey Only money lol
And since I will not install the speakers till spring a few weeks more will not hurt ! But I am anxious lol

Steve (OldBlue) Good advice on lubing the window what the panels are off ! Lithium grease ?

Finally washed the car yesterday. Been really cold, rainy, overcast so I put it off. Had to wash each section twice. But looks good. Decided to finish the hhr badges on the passenger door since it was clean. I spaced them out a lot more on this side to be closer to other chevy cars with these badges.

Also...saw a Malibu with the same style door badges and someone put a "mary kay" chrome badge over it.lol.

Had to turn over the keys to my youngest after her POS Ford with the infamous transmission took a dump this weekend. No telling when I’ll get it back but hopefully it’s a short term situation, especially because this was supposed to be my winter vehicle. Fortunately there’s a warranty on the piece of junk, ironically it was purchased within a week of me getting my HHR, which has 50k more miles and is three years older than the Ford. I’ve never had much luck with Ford vehicles - have had numerous GM and Chrysler (Jeep) cars and while they make break occasionally, they’ve never left me stranded and were relatively easy and cheap to fix. Every Ford I’ve had has had serious transmission or engine problems. A Cobalt or Cruze would have been my choice over the Ford but sometimes people have to learn the hard way. She calls my HHR the “bootleg PT Cruiser” but it’s starting to grow on her with the roomy cargo area and the booming sound system.

Having owned both a PT and two HHRs I call the PT the 'rough draft' because all the annoying things about the PT were addressed in the HHR design.

Thanks Steve,
Richie is a little moire mobile, They gave him a walker so he can move around, Still on oxygen as the blood clots are still blocking the part of the lungs that store oxygen or something like that !

He and the dog will stay with my for a few weeks !

The dog will get her nail clipped and they were BADLY needed and a Rabies shot !

Richie says you do not have to do that , I got you covered :) He love his dog and when he was in ER that was the first thing he asked the nurse was ask his family to watch the dog :)

My #2 son and DIL picked up his HHR from the garage and tool it to his house ! What ticks me off is

My son Chris called me at told me all 4 tires were low like 20 psi or a little less. the garage should have checked them IMO :O They will get a call from me tomorrow lol
Have a good night , 13*f here :O

New DIC buttons arrived today as well as the resistors needed for the relocation

The raised one will be 'menu' and the flush one will be 'reset'.

WooHoo! Onward and upward

Well the fun never stops :O My son still has the blood clots in his lungs and they are full of fluids :O SO they will put tubes in to help drain them :O

Woke up to 4*f
Then I head out to go shopping and all the doors on my HHR and Truck are froze shut :O after a few not so nice words and a couple shots of deicer finally in.:)
Found a can of silicone spray and wiped down the weatherstripping, So will see if that helps stop that .
The joys of living in the frozen north !. lol
Have a good day
