Exploratory surgery. Will look for proactive work too. Hope to keep that 2011 LS for awhile, less than 86K well-maintained miles. Will be OK if she’s laid up for a few days.

Any recommendations?

Drop the tank and investigate, then order the parts if required, if you have another car to drive!

Ummm...you do 3D printing? I have tried getting an emblem/logo made for my camper...well multiple ones that are identical. I was taken by a guy who thought he could do it. Then he cried the blues and wouldn't refund my initial payment. Do you 3D printing for others?

I'm just learning. To be honest, the time it takes me to build a design and print it I don't see any way I could do it as a service. For instance, I have two hours into the design (that's why it's crude and chunky) and it took 14 hours to print. And there is the downside. No matter how many I make, they each would take 14 hours to print, and the electricity usage is not small. If you have a physical piece you want to copy, silicone/resin casting would be your best bet.

you could try finding something similar on Etsy and then message the seller and ask if they're willing to do something custom... I've done that quite a few times, not with 3D printed stuff, but a lot of sellers are happy to tweak stuff

Thanks Rich, she’s recuperating nicely.
Today after the tire replacement on the Terrain, we took a drive in the BlackSwan, just stopped for a coffee, then back home. Sweetie isn’t up for a very long drive yet.
The new Michelin tires are so nice and quiet, I can’t believe the OEM Michelin tires only lasted 24,000 miles, I hope I get more outta the new ones. I have to remember the Terrain was a shuttle vehicle for the dealership and probably had been abused a couple of times, burn outs and such. And the other Terrain had 40,000 miles on it, so maybe that’s why two tires have half the tread of the other 2 tires.

Cool mongo..

Mine, I grabbed my gas cans & went to get my 100% gas for the mowers. Edging late tomorrow, that's the plan anyhow.
