Installed my new struts and sway bar links, the links were harder to replace than the struts, local parts store didn't stock the MOOG links so I was forced to buy the $20 each part store Chinese links,

don't worry about it...
Moog is not the same as before, and Chinese manufacturers are increasing the quality of their products.
There is a high probability that you did not lose in quality and won in price.

Ordered VVT solenoids from Rockauto, since Carid *still* hasn't shipped a week and a 1/2 later. Got run around from 'chat' about shipping They were in stock the day I ordered them, and were still in stock 1/2 week later. I'm SO done with them; not the first time. They aren't the same anymore. Downside was rockauto didn't have AC Delco in stock, went with Cloyes.

Today , I’m visiting a friend for an estimate to address some paint bubbles on the passenger side rear 1/4 panel.
at today’s prices, I’ll probably end up fixing it myself, when the weather warms up in April or May. I’ve got to install the TPMS sensors in the summer set of wheels

Went to run some errands in my HHR and got a tire pressure warning light. So my first stop was the repair shop, where they discovered that there was corrosion on the inside of the aluminum wheel that flaked off and interfered with the bead seating. I'd never heard of such a thing.

As an aside, the other day I'd had the tires rotated and balanced. The TPMS showed low pressure in the RR tire, even though the low tire was the RF. Does the TPMS have to re-learn after tire rotation?

Just did a little thing today. Added the rear seat to my panel, and a rear camera and illuminated bowtie. I was tired of looking at the peeling stock one
