Steve
So sorry to hear that both of you have that stuff. Hardest part is being isolated and being still (not in your nature). Will be praying for you both to get well soon......behave!

Been off line awhile,Playing catch up lol
Steve Bummer you and your wife had Covid, Hope you get beter soon !

On the HHR front
Both rear coil spring were broke !
New pads and rotors in front !
New marker bulbs ,Never knew my markers lit up thought they were reflectors lol

Total time to get done about 30 minutes, 15 minutes to drop off and then head back home lol

My regular guy did the work ,plus breaks and a few other things!,and compared to the other shop who did the inspection he saved me $400.00 ! They are $134.00 a hr

Used to fill about 20 Service vans a week there and repairs if the shop mechanic did not have time. SO good mechanic who treats you right !

When I went for the FREE State inspection at the dealer they said Fail because the brakes were rusted !

And they had 40/50% pad left! My mechanic John looked at it and could have made $$$ said they were fine !

When I did have him do brakes and rotors with WAGNER OEX Pads and E Coated rotors he was 600$ cheaper the Dealer and WAY better Pads and rotors ! So I trust him !

Only thing left to do is right front Axle shaft seal ! Will set a appointment for that and radiator flush as well !

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed when it come to auto repair but smart enough to hire someone who does lol

Today, I venture back into the garage to replace the leaking Gates water pump with a GMB unit, we’ll see how it turns out! I plan on disassembling today, then reassembling tomorrow.

On a positive note, Sweetie and I both tested negative this morning, so there’s that going for us!

Hers is on the right!

"SISU" crossed 190k today.
Celebrated with a cupcake and coffee.
Never had a vehicle with this high of mileage and don't plan on a replacement.
