Update... Went out this morning and it started up with the cel on, I shut it off and reset it, restarted and it seems fine. I guess it doesn't like others to use my car. only 5 degrees out so a major warming trend. projected high is 7 degrees...

We’re back up to a balmy 15 degrees F , I just finished clearing the driveway of 1 to 2 foot drifting. No more snow falling, winds are must less then an hour ago, this storm maybe over here in my neck of the woods!

Blizzard warning officially ended at 4:00 am.

Still blowing 30 mph. 6F, so -17 wind chill. Glad the blizzard is over, lol.

Merry Christmas! Today we’re at 16 degrees, not a cloud in the sky! Bright sunshine, the snow stopped overnight and the winds around 7 am. There’s still a state of emergency warning, roads are closed, businesses are closed until Monday. So nothing with the HHR except maybe brushing off the snow. The weather forecast shows mid forties by Thursday and mid 50’s next Sunday!

Brrr, just got back from a family service call, a flat tire change! My sister in laws car, she was hoping the tires would last till spring, Original tires that came on her 2008 Ford Escape, they are leaking air through the cracks in the side walls. The BlackSwan drove through the snow no problems, was heated and warm in minutes. My subdivision isn’t plowed yet, maybe tomorrow, maybe Wednesday.

Them’s old, but I have some 30 year old tires that don’t do that. What kind were they?

Firestone I don’t know what model , the car only has 35,000 miles on it , so she thought they should last longer. We’re at 18 degrees F now still now snow , tge winds have calmed considerably.

With only 35K, likely those are the original tires. Sheesh. Yeah, Firestone. My 30-year-old tires are Michelin.
