Went for a cruise into town and then back home. Yep those winter tires are more noisy than my summer tires rated all seasons.

Cheap Guy- Yep, they can haul lots..

I'll take the HHR.

The tire pressure sensors in the right side front and rear have failed . I installed them November 1/2020.
I ordered a tire changing kit from Amazon, this broke the beads nicely and let me apply pressure to insert 2 2x4’s into the area between the tire and rim, allowing me space to remove the sensor and the valve stem.
New stems and sensors put into the rim and the tires inflated ensuring the beads set into place. Lug nuts torqued to 100 ft lbs , sensors relearned . All done in 90 minutes
the tool cost me $130 CDN , tire shop wanted $35.00 each and $75.00 to do the relearn, so a win for me!

Just removed the license plate from my 08. Donated it and it’s getting picked up in the morning.
255,455 miles, started in Wisconsin, to DC, up to NYC a few times and now in South Carolina. Was always good to me. Still runs well, has a hole in the flex pipe and is due for some front end work.

Replacing it with a 2000 S10

Just want to thank everyone in this forum. I’ve mostly lurked here over the years, but your posts have been invaluable. This place is truly a blessing.

Yeah exactly the same here. Really only made the switch because I actually found a clean one. Getting really hard to find a decent one.

Enjoy that S10 Wojo. Keep an eye 👁️ out for another HHR , you’ll miss the fuel economy!

Today just moved the BlackSwan from our driveway, make room for the windows contractor.

Good work!

$35 each installed is completely reasonable. $75 to program is theft. My dealer does it for free in about 30 seconds. They don't even bother writing it up.
