Upon inspection, the tranny pan was coated in oil, but for the like of me I could not see where it was coming from.
I have since cleaned the oil off and will do a daily inspection

Look at the oil pressure sensor, just above the starter, you can see it from the top!

Lonwane , post some photos of your engine we might spot the issue for you.

Today a nice sunny day, so we are gonna cruise the north shore of Lake Erie!
Thanks Blue, We always park inside. Glad our home & around our immediate area was spared.

Hope you enjoyed your cruise.... Long, long ago I worked in Erie, PA.

Ok the Ign recall was completed on 5/2/24, & Yesterday I had an appt, I get there, almost running late, & go to shut off the car.. BUT ign won't turn off. Arrgh...

Did the wiggle & it did turn off. Now I don't trust it. Before all the new parts, I didn't have these issues.. Dealership tech says try 2nd key & see how that does..

Took the windshield cowl off and removed a 1 gal. bucket full of Mesquite Tree leaves and stems.
I had been 4 years since I didi the butyl patch repair.
Also changed out the grey, it was white, cabin air filter.
Note to self, 'don't wait for 4 years'.

Lonwane, Thanks, gotta check my cabin air filter too.

I did check all the tire pressures, including the spare..

Our Cruise Show is this Saturday, calling for rain.. Don't think at this point I'm gonna wash my Panel, unless weather prediction changes. .

Rolled out to Smithville for coffee with the_shmoo. Always great to talk about our HHR’s . Then I realized mine was built in 05/2011 and his was built 11/2005 , so do we have the oldest HHR and the newest, possibly last HHR ?

Here is his built sticker on the driver’s door

Here’s the sticker on my driver’s door.

Here’s our HHR’s side by each in the Timmies parking lot.
