CEL P0455 (Evaporative emission EVAP system large Leak Detected
I have been chasing this for about a month. Changed cannister a few months back. Changed the evap vent solenoid and gas cap. Still got it. Today I decided to change evap switch under hood. It had recently been replaced so I thought maybe I got a bad one. I don't know why. But I looked in the end of the switch and discovered it was clogged in charcoal. The line was full of it too. It turned out to be something simple. Completely blocked.
Ron, we're you getting the check gas cap warning after changing the evap vent solenoid? I changed my solenoid 2 times before that code cleared, then started getting gas cap warning. Changed that 3 times. Still getting gas cap warning. Where is this sensor and what is it? Maybe that's what I need to do.
