Went out in minus 6 F temperature, brushed off the snow and drove to pharmacy for prescriptions , then drove to a coffee shop for a latte.

Went out for some fresh air and change of scenery, stopped in Dunnville , Ontario for a coffee, drove home, nice smooth and quiet ride! The wind kicked up the powder snow from the fields but that wasn’t bad , we at about 28 F here

fairly warm down here, mid 20's and took a drive up to St. Paul for a Ham Radio auction, turns out everything was gold plated or something, high reserve on most stuff so I headed back home after a stop at the Goodwill Bins for some goodies. spent a whopping 28 cents for a bag od stuff. Then stopped off at local Ham club for Winter Field Day and played with some bad antennas. Then home for a well deserved nap. HHR did the job even with a strong wind all day. And my Smart key chain finally wore out after 20 some years, time for a new one I guess.

Drove out to my exercise class , time to get muscles back in shape, then drove home, nice comfortable ride. I splurged and filled up the fuel tank, haven’t bought gas since December 15, 2024.

Went out for follow up appointments for Sweetie’s colonoscopy, she about 3 years out since her surgery. We stopped out for a coffee then I drove her home. Her procedure will be in late April. A fine day for freezing rain and just below freezing temperatures. The BlackSwan cruised effortlessly through the slush and ice, the Ironman winter tires grip and get through the ice and snow!

This was yesterday. I installed a PowerStop Z23 front/rear K15222DK brake kit. The front pad anti-rattle clips did not work. The interior gap was a bit too narrow while allowed the clip the opportunity to touch the rotor. I cleaned and reused the original clips which were in good shape. It was a good thing I worked on the rear brakes since the passenger side spring that holds the brake shoes in place was broken.

The water pump let go.
Oh well, at least it was at home when I noticed the puddle.
