Heat?..... Summer is just around the corner, or so they say....... Just wish whoever "they" are would have had to live in this house for the last month.

I'll have to get a new furnace and hot water tank.... at some point I'll have enough cleared out of the way so that can happen. Going to take me awhile though.

Got the HHR cleaned up and did some cruising on a cool but sunny day. Weatherman said wet snow tonight, and damn it he was right..

I gave my new HHR a bath and a good wax job for the first time since I've had it (first day with decent weather that I've had off in a week.) Also picked up a new plate for the front and a plate frame for the back.

The front springs could easily be cut.. I'd start with taking off 2" of spring end. & see what you are sitting like..

The rears because of how they are wound, I would not..
If you cut & heat to wind it tight again, you've removed the springs' capacity, or certainly changed it to unknown variable. imo..

Yep, thats kinda what I thought, my 97 C1500 I cut the front coils and it worked out fine. Still havent decided if I am going to drop the front of the HHR a little more yet, because without the back dropped more it would have the front rake again, think I'll just drive it this way for a week or 2 before I decide.
