Last night/this morning at about 11:30 PM I loaded up my Panel with some cleaning supplies and drove over to the carwash, pulled into a wash bay and set myself up to Clean, Polish, and Wax the Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's.
Real bright lighting in the hand wash bays at night, and no houses near by so I cranked up the Tunes the whole time I was there.

A 24oz Coke and 2XL Dunkin Donuts Coffees later,(finished them at about 6AM) this is what they look like. First cleaning after they sat all Winter, Finally got the Boyds back ON my Panel.

The new lug nuts are Chrome and Bullet Shaped.

Meguiars Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish, (I use alot of Meguiars products on my cars) Eagle One Original NEVER DULL Wadding Polish, and a product simply called Wheel Wax.
I hand polished back and forth between the Meguiars Hot Rims let it haze and wiped off then used the Eagle One Never Dull, then a Combo of Both, let it haze and wiped off, then I applied 2 coats of the Wheel Wax.

They turned out real Nice.

Looking awesome A&P, and with all that caffeine on board you should be able to sleep again come Wednesday.

Grabbed the California Duster and removed the pollen that sneaks in around the garage door seals, I hate pollen. This time of year they develop a natural two tone overnight, green and silver, green and Mocha Steel, green and black, etc. Dad's Buick was covered in pollen and water spots this morning, not a good look at all. At least we didn't get the golf ball to softball sized hail here last night, 20 miles to the south they got hammered. Damage in the millions and hundreds of cars trashed.

Well, last night i accidentally "baptized" the rear cargo mat with the better part of a bottle of Shiner Black Lager (I was cleaning out the back and bumped the bottle over without knowing it... ) At least it was appropriate that is was a Black Lager for a black HHR, but the carpet is cashmere . So today after hauling home a load of mulch (in bags and with plastic laid down) I treated the mats to a pass of the Hoover All-terrain Steam Vac. Mmmmm, lavender-scented cleaner... Then i paired my new Verizon Droid X to the car and test-called the Ms. I lead a very exciting life!!!

Ordered the HHR Stage Kit online from crateenginedepot. Will schedule installation after an out of town trip after Easter. Can't wait to surprise a few more V8s.
