Bough wipers. I like having family who works at the dealer. Got AC Delco brand wipers (the stock kind for the HHR that bend when you pick them up) for $9 each!

Test drove a new Mazda Speed3. Nicely fast, much more linear power, but shorter gears (6 speed manual), and lacking 50 ft lbs to a stage 1 SS. Lighter weight though, would be a good race I believe.

Got my HHR back and I'm NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!

Gasman I'm sorry to hear they still haven't figured out thats up with your SS. I had a friend of mine sugest a Mazda 3 when I was looking for a station wagon. I'm so glad I ignored him,the SS has that retro look, way more room, more zoom and thats before Trifecta. I'm loosing confidence in your dealer I found going to a different dealer resulted in a different answer to the same question, much more desirable result. I hate to hear your ready to give up,you are right to feel that way, they should fix it or give you a new one, not keep telling you they don't know. Have you tried a different dealer, one that might value you as a customer ??

Yeah I may do that. I already spoke to another salesman at another dealer. I may go there next.

Just make an appt with service and go. This should be easy for the right guy and you'll be tearing Zoom, zoom's up soon. If stage 1 won't do it Trifecta will.

Yeah I think I may take it to another dealer and just not say anything to them other than the said problem. Of coarse that will only work till they call GMPD/GMTech
