This condition usually lasts from several weeks to several months....... My back is normally bad with 3 degenerated disc, but every once and a while it slips into some different position that pinches all the nerves the wrong way...... Meds won't touch it either, so I don't bother.

So I walk like Boris Karloff as "the Mummy" for awhile.

Hope it eases up on you sooner than later Greybeard, I'm getting my second opinion tomorrow on the back surgery recommended by Doctor #1.

I'm kind of jealous, I walk like The Monster in Frankenstein. But my wife says I dance like The Monster in Young Frankenstein, not sure if that's a compliment or not.

Any of you looked into the possibility of Laser Surgery? Expensive, IF your insurance does not pick up the TOTAL cost.

You might want to try an Inversion Table. My wife has Scoliosis (sp), Curvature of the Spine. It works wonders for her. She used to see a Chiropractor but stopped because the table helped so much.

I'm waiting on the second opinion because Doctor #1 is talking about spinal fusion, not an option I'm ready for, but it may turn out to be the only option.

Now its time to crank up an HHR for a run to my office in Charlotte, woo hoo!

Surgery is not an option here and I've never heard of any of them turning out well so I wouldn't. My back has been like this since the 70's (getting progressively worse) so it's just how it is.

Back to the topic..... No vibration at 70 mph so it wasn't a wheel weight coming off, I donno. The Wizard's running great! (and I've got the coolest wheels in town!)

I just talked to my best friend from high school this past sunday, and his dr is talking spinal fusion also. Has already had back surgery a couple years ago that didnt help matters. He fell 40 ft off of scaffolding in the winter time onto frozen stone and thats where all his problems date back from(they never checked his spine when he went to the ER), so now 15 years later, they are saying that to"ease" his pain, fusion could be the best option. He just turned 37 a couple of weeks ago.
