I was driving back to work from lunch. I had the sunroof open, and the windows down. It was hot out (95+) a strong wind was up from the south. Willie Nelson was on my MP3/Car Stereo. I was singing along out of tune... I stopped for a red light...

...and a bird flew over and CRAP on my steering-wheel.

So today I cleaned bird poop off of my steering wheel.

LMFAO!!!

Ahh Just one more reason NOT to have a sunroof!

I made Sure I found one(my Panel)without it.
No sun beating down on me
No broken sunroof parts to deal with
No future Leaks to deal with

And..

NO Bird Droppings on my steering wheel or worse my head!

Usually that just happens to us with convertibles, sorry to hear you have a bird nearby with a marksmanship medal TX-2LT. I haven't been hit with the top down on the SS yet, but the emphasis is on YET.

Back to OT, bumbled out in Boo Boo to the Cannon Pharmacy for more cold pills and something for my sore throat, if anything I feel worse than yesterday...damn colds!

Michelle is very kind when I'm sickly, in fact she made me cookies today. The smell of fresh baked chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies has amazing restorative powers.

Of course she can always scoot when I'm too much of a big baby, after all five of the members of the fleet/herd/gaggle/whatever are functional.

Had a friend with a lift install new sway bar end links today. No more rattle, and they apparently also make the car go faster. I haven't had a speeding ticket in more than 20 years, and a nice fine young Revenue Enhancement Officer cited me for 72 in a 60, when I'm SURE I wasn't going over 65. Not sure how to fight it, other than go to court and hope he doesn't show up. So the $70 repair just cost $190 - ugh.

Java, my ex g/f just got popped for 47 in a 35, and she was certain she wasn't doing more than 42.. She took it to court and got $40 fine, and $100 in court costs.. This was Fairborn OH.
